The management team

Drug Discovery Biotech, S.L. was founded by four PhD in Sciences, as a spin-off of the University of Málaga. Currently, three of them are full professors of that university, and they have been collaborating during the last fifteen years in drug discovery research projects, specifically in the characterization of new anti-angiogenic substances, which it’s the main business target of DDB. Their experience in this field was recognised in 2002 with the IV Consejo Social y Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía Award. In 2004 they published the first monograph in Spanish about Angiogénesis (ISBN 84-9747-035-4) and in 2009 they collaborated in the edition of the book Angiogénesis y Cáncer (ISBN 978-84-691-5241-6). After a first stage of ten years in different national or international research centres, the fourth member of the team contributes to the project with more than fifteen years of business management experience.
